Cost Group 420 refers to heat supply systems of building services trades in structural facilities, which fall under the HOAI (Regulation on Fees for Architectural and Engineering Services).

Cost Group 420 (System Group 2) is further subdivided into additional cost groups at the 2nd level of DIN 276:

422 Heat Distribution Networks:
Local and district heating pipeline systems; Installation technology in general; Pipeline systems in general; Heating circuit distributors; Heating fittings; Pump technology; associated insulation; etc.

423 Room Heating Surfaces:
Radiators; Bathroom radiators; Panel radiators; Convectors; Ceiling radiant systems; Surface heating systems such as underfloor heating or similar; Fan coils; etc.

424 Traffic Area Heating Surfaces:
Refers to systems such as airfield heating systems, roadway heating or similar.

429 Other for Cost Group 410:
Chimney technology; Fire protection components for heat supply technology; etc.
