The DAMBAN Engineering Office manages System Group 3 of Building Services Engineering within the scope of planning and engineering services, in accordance with HOAI, which is simultaneously designated as Cost Group 430 under DIN 276. Cost Group 430 refers to air handling systems of the building services trades in construction projects that fall within the scope of HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers).

Cost Group 430 (System Group 3) is further divided into additional cost groups at the 2nd level of DIN 276:

Passive/active ventilation systems in general; air duct systems/air ducts; cooling ceilings; room cooling surfaces; air handling systems with heat recovery and associated heat pump systems; exhaust air systems/bathroom exhaust technology; cross-flow/through-flow ventilation systems in buildings; natural ventilation technology; measurement and control technology for ventilation; supply and exhaust air technology; air treatment technology; smoke extraction systems; air humidification and dehumidification systems; filter technology for air handling systems; controlled residential ventilation in central and decentralized designs; intake towers/ventilation towers; cooling towers; etc.

432 Partial Air Conditioning Systems:
Cooling towers with various air treatment measures; associated components; etc.

433 Air Conditioning Systems:
Passive and active cooling systems in general; systems with four thermodynamic air treatment functions; central air conditioning units; central air conditioning systems in general; associated components; etc.

434 Refrigeration Systems:
Refrigeration technology for air handling systems / refrigeration generation and heat rejection systems; associated components/piping systems; etc.

439 Miscellaneous for Cost Group 430:
Ventilation ceilings; aluminum air duct systems; stainless steel sheet metal pipes; fiber cement ducts; gypsum fiber boards; steel sheet metal pipes; cooling ceilings; exhaust air openings; installation raised floors; fire protection components; etc.
