The DAMBAN Engineering Office manages System Group 5 of the Technical Building Equipment within the scope of planning and engineering services, in accordance with HOAI, which is simultaneously designated as Cost Group 450 under DIN 276. Cost Group 450 refers to telecommunication and information technology systems of the building services trades in construction projects that fall within the scope of HOAI (Regulations on Fees for Architectural and Engineering Services).

Cost Group 450 (System Group 5) is further divided into additional cost groups at the 2nd level of DIN 276:

Fire, hold-up, and burglar alarm systems; guard control systems; access control and surveillance systems; etc.

Networks for the transmission of data, voice, text and image; etc.
